If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our services.

1. OUR ROLE AND SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • Medical Journey is a medical tourism facilitator and broker that coordinates medical services with healthcare providers in Tijuana, Mexico.
  • Medical Journey does not provide medical care, practice medicine, or make clinical decisions. All medical procedures, treatments, and care are provided exclusively by independent, third-party healthcare providers, physicians, and medical facilities.

  • Communicate with providers on your behalf about scheduling, logistics, and care coordination.
Note: Cross-border coordination may involve transferring your data to and from Mexico, which may have different privacy and data protection laws than your home country.

3. CROSS-BORDER MEDICAL TREATMENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By purchasing or using any Medical Journey service, you acknowledge and understand that:

  • Your medical treatment will occur in Mexico, which operates under different medical standards, regulations, and legal systems than the United States.
  • Licensing, certification, training requirements, and clinical practices may differ from those in the United States.
  • Medical malpractice laws, patient rights, and legal remedies in Mexico may differ significantly from those in the United States.
  • You are voluntarily choosing to receive treatment outside the United States.

4. RISKS AND COMPLICATIONS

All medical procedures carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by purchasing or using any Medical Journey service, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Medical Journey, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or causes of action arising from or related to:

8. NO GUARANTEES; INDEPENDENT MEDICAL JUDGMENT

No guarantees or promises are made regarding medical outcomes, recovery times, complication rates, or results. All clinical decisions and advice are made by your independent healthcare providers, who are solely responsible for your medical care.
